Swim Instruction

Age Requirement- For Ages 3 and up (must be potty trained)

Weekly Schedule - Monday-Friday (5) 30 minute classes. Please contact us by email for times. (9am-2pm) The weeks we offer Swim Camp, classes will not be available in the morning.

Group Lessons - We are not able to put together group lessons except at camp. We encourage you to put together your own groups of 3-4 students (must have around the same swim ability.)
Group Price (per person for 1 week) - New Students $60.00, Return Students $50.00

Semi-Private Lessons - 2 students with same swim ability per instructor
Semi-Private Price (per person for 1 week) - New Student $75.00/Return Student $65.00

Private Lessons - 1 student per instructor
Private Price (for 1 week) - New Student $100.00/ Return Student $90.00

Swim Camps 

Monday-Friday 9am-12pm (ages 3-12)

Campers will be divided into groups by age and ability and rotate between a daily 40 minute group swim lesson and various supervised activities (group games and crafts.) Please have your child bring a towel, slip on shoes for games, and their own Lunch! In order to reserve your spot in camp, send registration and money no later than a week prior! Thank you.

New or Returning Students?

Families who have had any child take lessons or attend camp from us in previous and present summers are considered returning students. Families that are starting new with us this year will be considered returning students after one week of lessons or camp are completed. Our thanks to those of you who have already referred us to your friends!

Our Goal

Our goal is to help participants become safe swimmers and improve their swimming skills. Please understand that participants learn at different rates, though we cannot guarantee that a participant will be swimming after a particular series of lessons, you should see an improvement. We hope to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Weather

We can only hope for good weather every day. We will teach in the rain, but not if it is thundering and lightening. Though it could be storming where you live it may not be here, so call before you come. We will either refund your money or work you in a following week if we must cancel. Please be mindful that we have the most weather related problems in the late afternoons.

Directions and PARKING
MAP

We live in the Whitfield Farms Subdivision off of Robinson Road (north end) in Peachtree City. Our street is the first one on the left (Spring Walk) and we are the second house on the right #302. When parking, please be mindful especially of our neighbors. DO NOT PARK across from our neighbors driveway so that they can safely back out or PARK on anyone's GRASS.

GO GREEN! - Due to limited parking, carpooling is highly recommended for camps and group/semi-private lessons. Thanks! :)

Stay or Leave During Lessons?

Students tend to do much better when not being watched the whole time. We recommend watching the first and last lessons if you would like. If you are becoming a distraction to your child you may leave and return. Children not registered for swim instruction or camp cannot use the pool, jacuzzi, play fort, or trampoline . Please do not let other children disturb classes.

Email us at jonesfamilyswim@hotmail.com to request a time slot, (make sure you state which week, instructor and type of swim lesson you would like along with your child's name/age and any other child that will be joining in the swim lesson), then we will email you back to confirm or if the time slot is already taken, suggest other available times.

Waiver & Payments

On the top right section of the blog is the waiver. Click on the link. Click on the 'more' tab and press print the document. Please let us know if you have any trouble and we will either send you it before the lesson or have it ready to be filled out before the class starts. You MUST have this release form filled out and signed and turned in to us along with payment (Check or Cash Only) no later than beginning of the first day of class. (If you do not bring the waiver the time it takes to find one and fill it out will take away from your child's lesson.) We prefer if you mail them to us a week before your child's swim date to hold your week and time slot, the address is below.

Instructors

All Instructors have been certified as Water Safety Instructor's and/or Lifeguard with CPR by the American Red Cross. If you would like a certain instructor for your children, please say so when you are registering, and we will try to accommodate your request. Thanks.

Jones Family Update

Ashley and Brian are living in Utah where Brian is currently enrolled in the MBA/MSE graduate program at the University of Utah. Ashley has taken a break from teaching to stay home with Oliver. They are excited to spend there summer break back in Georgia.

Travis and Mayra are living in Peachtree City. Mayra is going to school for nursing. Travis is a dispatcher for Express Jet and a pilot with the Air National Guard.

Whitney is living Atlanta. She currently is working at The Marcus Center for Autism and is pursuing a Master's degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Autism studies.

Lyndsey and Charlie are living in Marietta. Charlie is working in Film and Lyndsey just opened an online clothing store called Winsome Jones! Be sure to check it out! They are expecting a baby girl in May.
